Grand Prairie Simple Tooth Extractions

When teeth have properly erupted, are fully visible and do not suffer from extreme damage, decay or infection, a simple tooth extraction may be recommended. During a simple tooth extraction, an elevator is used to first gently loosen the affected tooth, forceps are then used to fully remove it.

Surgical Tooth Extractions Grand Prairie

If the affected tooth has not properly erupted, is not visible or suffers from decay, infection or damage, a surgical tooth extraction may be required. Although quite similar to a simple tooth extraction, during a surgical tooth extraction an incision may be made to access the tooth. The affected tooth may also have to be broken in order to be fully removed.

Grand Prairie Wisdom Tooth Removal

Wisdom teeth are the most common reason our patient’s need a tooth extraction due to the fact they often become impacted. Prime Dental would be happy to evaluate your smile to determine if wisdom tooth removal is recommended.
